In the broadest terms, the ALSAN line offers countless waterproofing solutions, available in both fully reinforced and partially reinforced configurations, at multiple price points while offering systems warranted for up to 20 years.


Trafficable SystemsTrafficable Systems

Trafficable Surface systems refer to applications that are specifically designed to withstand consistent pedestrian foot traffic. Systems are available in partially and fully reinforced configurations and can be warranted for up to 20 years.


Recovery SystemsRecovery Systems

Recovery systems refer to any waterproofing or trafficable surface system that is meant to go over an existing waterproofing membrane system in lieu of a complete tear-off of the existing system (s). Avoiding tear-off saves money, time and directly impacts to the environment by eliminating landfill waste. Liquid-applied systems are ideal for such recovery applications, especially in urban areas where tight construction regulations and deadlines are the norm.


Flashing SystemsFlashing Systems

Flashing systems refer to waterproofing applications of the various pipe or conduit projections, curbs, walls, upstands, drains and other penetrations regularly found in building structures. Flashing systems are designed to be used in conjunction with existing roofing and waterproofing membrane systems or with concurrent liquid membrane applications. Utilization of ALSAN systems ensures proper installation in conjuction with SOPREMA SBS modified bitumen membrane systems.


Parking SystemsParking Systems

Parking systems are waterproofing and trafficable surface systems specifically designed to withstand vehicular traffic. All aspects of parking structures including traffic marking, ramps and walkways can be waterproofed using the ALSAN RS (PMMA) Parking System providing up to a 10 year warranty.


Grease Protection SystemsGrease Protection Systems

Grease Protection systems are designed to protect against the deleterious effects primarily found at food processing plants and restaurant facilities. These systems are designed to stand up to all manner of animal fats and other contaminants present in food processing facilities. ALSAN RS Grease Protection Systems are fully reinforced and can be applied in conjunction with SOPREMA SBS Modified Bitumen membrane systems.


Cool Roof SystemsCool Roof Systems

Cool Roof systems refer to any waterproofing or trafficable surface system where the final coat is bright white in color and is designed to meet industry standards for solar reflectivity and thermal emissivity. In todays environmentally conscience market place, the urban heat island effect (warmer surface temperatures in metropolitan areas when compared to rural areas directly caused by urban density and building practices) is the cause of great concern. In addition to increasing utility costs and squandering precious natural resources, the urban heat island effect adversely influences city dweller’s daily life.


Overburden SystemsOverburden Systems

Overburden systems refer to any waterproofing application that will subsequently receive some sort of paver/stone or growing media installation over the completed waterproofing application. It is critical that the waterproofing membrane remain watertight due to the high maintenance and repair costs and the difficulty in finding leaks under the overburden material. A seamless, monolithic waterproofing membrane found in SOPREMA ALSAN systems are the ideal solution.


Balcony SystemsBalcony Systems

Balcony systems are an offshoot of Trafficable Surface systems with a particular focus on residential and commercial structures that feature some sort of balcony structure, be it cantilevered or otherwise. These structures need special attention due to potential severe freeze/thaw cycle.
